Did you know the local fire stations in Martin and St. Lucie counties give free tours? Just call or email your local fire station, fill out a form, and they will schedule a tour. The fire fighters are very welcoming and full of all kinds of safety information and tips. They even have a safety pamphlet to help you teach the kids fire safety. I just recently went on a tour at my local fire station on Becker Road in Port St. Lucie. The staff was very friendly and even let me try on a real fire suit! The kids got to sit in and learn about the fire trucks and even hear the sirens and horn. It was a blast to say the least and I think everyone should make a day to go. Thank you to the staff at the Becker station for the great hospitality and memories!
