A new school for 6th to 12th graders is opening in St. Lucie county providing parents with new and exciting options for their children. Appropriately called Synergy School of Tomorrow, this new school offers a combination of traditional education, but paired with top of the line junior college level career training and vocational options.
The 75,000 sqft campus was previously Virginia College, but is now owned and operated by Florida State Christian Academy as they expand to their third campus. They are recognized as being fully accredited, offering dual enrollment and National Baccalaureate options with a focus in career training. This is a big step ahead of most other public and private schools in our area. They also offer S.T.E.A.M. Programs, Bus Transportation, Athletics, Aftercare, and Free and Reduced Lunches made in-house. This new facility features a state of the art culinary training kitchen, a huge cosmetology training center with classrooms and practice stations, a surgery room for medical training, and tons of other space for different vocational programs in addition to the normal high school curriculum.
Synergy School of Tomorrow is now enrolling students and giving tours of its new campus. Since there are virtually no high schools in this county which prepare our future leaders with this level of career training and real life skills, Synergy could be the new school model that our outdated education system needs.
